@ Lisa T: Digital rendering.

Here's a before (the original work) compared to the after (digitally rendered):

Notice how the colours stand out so much more!?

And details in the hair and face are now visible!

Hope you enjoy the end product ;)

@ Lisa T: Draft.

Here's a sneaky peak at the start of our picture.

@Lisa T: Preliminary sketch.

This is the rough sketch, and not a draft, just so you can get an idea of what's in my head/ how it might look.

Any feedback you have for me, please let me know now, before I draw up a first draft for you.

[Please excuse the poor quality picture, the scanner doesn't like graphite pencil]

Questions: Do you want to be smiling with teeth/ without teeth/ mouth open(pictured)? Eyes open or closed(pictured)? More or less hair?

Suggestions: I can make the hand look like you're blow-drying your hair, with a hair dryer, if you'd like...? I think it would easily fit into the picture because the hair is blowing everywhere so a hair dryer would just make it look more authentic. As always though, it is completely up to you :)

Notes: There will be subtle washed-out colours in the background (turquoise, purple, grey), the squares will have a thin-medium width black outline(pictured), images inside the squares will be in coloured pencil, the image of you will be in full colour using acrylic and colour pencil and will stand out the most.

Exciting!
